THE MEDIEVAL DRAGON

Dracmaycat is pleased to introduce the Route of the Medieval Dragon at Barcelona. City known as the birthplace and home of dragons, as there are nearly a thousand documented dragons of different types all over the city. From the Gaudí and modernism ones of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, to the medieval ones from the twelfth and thirteenth centuries.

However, what do we really know of these majestic and magical beasts...? How did they get to Catalonia? How did they stablish themselves, still jealously protecting secrets full of messages...?

What do we really know of Archangel Saint Michael? And of Saint George? What does the princess really think about dragons? Do we really know dragons? Or perhaps... nothing is what it seems?

All these questions and more we will try to answer while walking the wonderful streets of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter.

GARGOYLE IN RAIN

Are gargoyles dragons? From what do they protect us? Are all gargoyles what they seem? Do you know the most modern gargoyle in Barcelona?
Come to the route to get the answers to these questions
